BPS Foundation Hosts Dueling Pianos Fundraiser

More than 375 members of the Bennington community came together on Friday, March 25 to support the Bennington Public Schools Foundation’s Spring Fundraiser: Dueling Pianos. Attendees enjoyed dinner and dessert, games, and a Dueling Pianos show by Fun Pianos!

Between different levels of sponsorship, raffle tickets, and free-will donations, the event raised around $40,000 to support new and existing Foundation Programs. Around $6,000 was raised specifically for the TeamMates Mentoring of Bennington Program during the “Fill the Heart” portion of the evening.

“We are so thankful for the generous members of this community who continually show up to support students and teachers in the school district,” said Foundation Executive Director, Regina Meradith.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Foundation’s 12 programs that support students and teachers in Bennington Public Schools. Programs include scholarships, classroom grants, project funding, student needs fund, teacher professional development, study centers, and more. The Presenting Sponsors for the event were Mr. Jeff & Mrs. Amy Beresh.
