Community Feedback

Over the past year, Bennington Public Schools has been evaluating feedback provided by our community regarding previous bond issues, working with project stakeholders to respond to this input, and attempting to develop plans that meet the needs of the District and community.

BPS launched an online survey to further gather information on the topic. All residents of the district received a postcard in the mail inviting them to complete the survey by December 2, 2024, to share their thoughts and priorities. Paper copies of the survey were available at the District Office for those unable to complete it online.

The survey is now closed and the District shared the results with the Board of Education during the December 9, 2024 Board of Education meeting. 

Dr. Plas shared an executive summary of the community feedback survey on the potential 2025 bond issue. There was a total of 1,417 surveys completed by Bennington residents. The survey was made available to all residents. Click here to view the executive summary.
