Board of Education Meetings

Bennington Public Schools is governed by an elected, six-member, Board of Education. The Board meets monthly on the second Monday of the month at 6 p.m. Any changes or additional meetings are communicated in the newspaper, The Daily Record. Public meetings are held at the Bennington Public Schools District Office at 11620 N. 156th Street. Meetings can also be watched online via the District YouTube channel.

Dues & Memberships for the Board of Education

The Board of Education is a member of the following organizations and associations and
pays the corresponding amounts as dues to each organization or association:

  • Nebraska Association of School Boards (NASB) - $8,128
  • Greater Nebraska School Association (GNSA) - $4,250
  • Nebraska School Activities Association (NSAA) - $1,865
  • Eastern Midlands Conference (EMC) - $500

The Board of Education approved a two-year agreement, to cover both the upcoming long and short legislative sessions, with an annual cost of $27,800 plus fees.
