Board of Education Meetings

Bennington Public Schools is governed by an elected, six-member, Board of Education. The Board meets monthly on the second Monday of the month at 6 p.m. Any changes or additional meetings are communicated in the newspaper, The Daily Record. Public meetings are held at the Bennington Public Schools District Office at 11620 N. 156^th Street. Meetings can also be watched online via the District YouTube channel.

Dues & Memberships for the Board of Education

The Board of Education is a member of the following organizations and associations and
pays the corresponding amounts as dues to each organization or association:

• Nebraska Association of School Boards (NASB) - $8,128
• Greater Nebraska School Association (GNSA) - $4,250
• Nebraska School Activities Association (NSAA) - $1,865
• Eastern Midlands Conference (EMC) - $500

The Board of Education approved a two-year agreement, to cover both the upcoming long and short legislative sessions, with an annual cost of $27,800 plus fees.
