Welcome to Bennington Public School District’s Online Registration

Whether you are enrolling your child in kindergarten, elementary school, middle school, or high school, our online registration will guide you through the entire enrollment process.   • New Student Enrollment

    For any K-12th grade student not currently enrolled in a BPS school. Preschool families should refer to the information under Early Childhood.

Enrollment Requirements
The following documents are required for enrollment for all grade levels unless otherwise noted:

  • Original Birth Certificate with raised seal
    • Original must be presented at New Student appointment
  • Proof of district residence may be required
    • Per BPS Board Policy, students are assigned to their school based on their address of residence. 
  • Immunization record
  • Current physical examination and visual examination documentation
    • Must be dated no earlier than 6 months before the first day of school.
    • Required for: 
      • Kindergarten
      • Grade 7
      • Student Enrolling from Out-of-State
  • Foster children or wards of the state or court need court documents and pertinent school records

Bus Transportation
To be routed on a bus on the first day of school, transportation requests must be received by July 31st. Any requests received August 1st or later will be placed on a waitlist. Transportation requests are submitted through the OLR process. 

District Boundaries
Per BPS Board Policy, students are assigned to their school based on their address of residence. The boundary details page will assist in determining the building to which a student(s) will be assigned. It should not be assumed that every residence in an areas/subdivision falls within the attendance center listed, or within the Bennington Public School District boundaries. For an example, an address of Bennington, NE 68007 does not guarantee placement in the Bennington School District.
