History of Bond Issues

Below are the seven separate bond issues Bennington voters have passed since 2003.  The first six bond issues have been completed within or under budget. More information about the most current bond issue can be found on the pages linked to the left.

$15.94 Million
Construction of Bennington Jr/Sr High School.

$15.90 Million
Construction of Pine Creek Elementary, classroom addition and construction of a stadium to Bennington Jr/Sr High School, and improvements to Bennington Elementary. 

$19.75 Million
Construction of Heritage Elementary and addition of an auditorium at Bennington Jr/Sr High School.

$38.5 Million
Construction of Bennington Middle School, auxiliary gym addition to high school, security renovations at Bennington Elementary, warehouse, and funds for future land purchases.

$36 Million
Construction of Anchor Pointe Elementary with preschool addition, HVAC controls upgrade and synthetic turf at Bennington High School, District Office expansion and remodel, parking reconfiguration and upgrade, updates to roof, flooring and HVAC, and refurbishing of stadium at Bennington Elementary, security system and technology system upgrades at Pine Creek and Heritage Elementary.

$72 Million
Construction of Stratford Elementary and Bennington South Middle School, classroom addition at Pine Creek Elementary, street development between two schools, District Office renovations, renovation and additional seating at the High School stadium, construction of a two-story press box with restrooms and concession stand at the High School softball stadium, additional facility renovations, and funds for future land purchases.

Construction of a second High School.
