The next regular Board of Education meeting will be on November 10, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., at the District Office. All meetings are open to the public. Regular meetings are streamed live through YouTube and viewable on the District website. Special meetings, where there are action items on the agenda, will also be streamed live. On October 8, nineteen Bennington High School students traveled to Wayne State College to compete in the Business Competition hosted by the Nebraska Economic Council—and brought home first place as a team among more than 200 competitors!

Bennington Elementary 2nd graders went for the gold during the 3rd Annual Greek Olympics on Monday afternoon! Students competed in events like the 100-Meter Dash, Chariot Races, Race Walking, Discus Throw, and Javelin Throw—showcasing their teamwork, energy, and sportsmanship throughout the games.
From cheering on classmates to celebrating each victory, our young Olympians made it a fun and memorable afternoon filled with laughter and learning. #WeAreBPS

The combined elementary choir clubs will be singing the National Anthem at a Lancer’s hockey game! This serves as a choir fundraiser and is also just a fun night to watch your favorite Badger Singers and watch a game! A portion of the ticket prices will be given back to our elementary choirs!

The BPS team will be visiting the Bennington Public Library to provide a free developmental screening of children ages birth to 36 months.
- No cost to families
- Screening in all areas of development (communication, social, gross/fine motor, emotional, cognitive, and self-help skills)
- A services coordinator will contact you should any additional follow up be needed after screening regarding next steps.
