Are You Registered to Vote?

Deadline to Register is Approaching!
If your address has changed since the last time you voted, you will need to re-register with the Douglas County Election Commission.

There are two ways you can register to vote.

  1. Register online at https://votedouglascounty.com/voter_registration.aspx.
    Online registrations must be completed by February 23rd in order to vote on the bond issue.
  2. Register in person at the Douglas County Election Commission located at 12220 W. Center Road, Omaha, NE 68044. In-person registrations must be completed by March 1st in order to vote on the bond issue.

Ballots will be mailed out to all registered voters living in the school district boundaries starting February 20th or after your registration application has been processed.

If you are not registered by March 1st, you are not eligible to vote.

The Voting Process
It's as Easy as 1, 2, 3!

1. After voting, place the ballot in the provided envelope.

2. Sign the back of the envelope.

3. Submit your ballot to the Election Office.

  • Put a stamp on the envelope and mail through the post office.
    • March 6th is the last day to mail ballots.
  • Drop the envelope off at a drop box or at the Election Office.
    • March 12th at 5pm is the last day to drop off your ballot.

Vote March 12, 2024
All ballots must be in the hands of the election office by 5pm on March 12th or they will not count!
