Students will complete activities designed to help them read and analyze the results of their individualized Naviance StrengthsExplorer report. Students will understand their top three talents/strengths and learn action strategies on how to use their strengths for a successful future.

Students will also work together to design and decorate a tree for the annual December homeroom tree contest.

You Can Try This at Home

Ask your child to show you their StrengthsExplorer report, or to explain their top three strengths/talents from the report. If reading the StrengthsExplorer report together, write down or highlight the words, sentences, or phrases in the report that you have seen in your child. You can help your child become more aware of their talents in everyday life by sharing a specific time or times when you saw your child use a particular talent at home, school, church, in the community, or with family or friends. You can also look forward and come up with ideas about how your child might use one or more of these strengths in the future.
