Growth Information

Growth Creates Need for a Bond Issue

As Bennington Public Schools continue to attract families to our community, the increase in student population places a strain on current facilities and class size. Looking at the number of current students in grades 5-8, the high school will be over capacity for the 2025-26 school year.  This number does not take into account any growth due to new students. With projected growth, the high school will be slightly over capacity for the 2024-2025 school year.
